Yes, Very nice. I have some general comments and then some specific ones.
You guys (Girls) that do SDEs, what is your workflow? In this case obviously the beach, car, etc were set up before and then the wedding scenes were placed after the fact. Was this a SDE that was shown at a reception? If so how much time did you have between the ceremony and 'show time' to get it done. Did you record to tape and then capture or did you use a hard media capture (Firestore, etc) How did you get the cake cutting in there. Didn't that occur at the reception?

Terry, We usually include scenes from their prenup since in this part of our country, weddings are a blur unlike the usual flow in Manila where it's usually 12-14 hours. Here it's like 10-11 hours on most of the weddings that we covered. But there are times that the client doesn't get our prenup add-on so we just have to make use with on the day wedding scenes. We had two hours specifically for this one and some of the scenes were edited during the ceremony and the prenup was edited during the preps. We record to tape and then capture. The cake cutting happened about 1 hour before show time so we just selected scenes to capture.

For the glide footages, we usually take turns ^_^

All I can say is WOW! And an SDE to boot. That's not a wedding. That' a music video. Top marks all around, but I especially like how you fly the camera. The couple should be more than pleased.

Raphael, What cameras were you using to shoot with and at what shutter speed 24f 60i 50i. If using the A1 what preset if any did you use?

We use two sony Fx1s and we shoot in SD. Hmmm, for the shutter speed, we really play a lot with it from 30 to as high as 500 depending on the lighting conditions. Since we're using FX1s, I find it easier to adjust the shutter speed compared to adjusting the iris. But sometimes it depends ^_^.

For the first scene in this SDE, the shutter speed is waaaaay up to get the effect.

Does the FX1 shoot in 24f or 30p? Are you shooting in 60i then? Or is the movie element captured all in post?

I'm not really that technical but I think the FX1 is not capable of shooting in 24f or 24p but it only mimics it with its cineframe24 setting. We usually shoot in cineframe30 which i think is still 30 fps but has a more movie like feel.

What do you mean about the movie element?

By movie element I was referring to the overall colour and feel of the piece. It didn't feel like it had a video look to it. I was unsure if it was all camera doing the work or how much time in post production you did to achieve the colour and look of the edit.

Hi Raphael, at first I thought you guys are using 35mm adapters considering the movie look and the DOF. Now I can see you've been using the FX1s at it's best, shooting and editing like crazy=) For whom haven't see their latest SDE, check out at their blog. I've just seen it... Superb!

Hi Jason! Ohhh, so that's what you mean. Yeah, coloring the scenes really took a lot of time during the edit and that's usually the last phase of editing that we usually do.

Raph, I'm supposed to be editing but your vids are hard to resist. Some really great fresh ideas. Solid post/colour work, and some really impeccable compositions in you and your teams shooting ability.

The story line is a tad tough to follow even for Tarantino movie fans.
