How would one capture this kind of look on the ex1? If I shoot at 6-8 fps it speeds up automatically to 24fps...

View Full Version : 6-8 fps like chungking express on ex1? Adam Ginsberg January 18th, 2008, 02:59 PM How would one capture this kind of look on the ex1? On the EX1 I am not sure how you would do that maybe a post effect. Anyone? Chris Forbes January 18th, 2008, 03:43 PM Try this on the LCD select shutter speed and change it to sls then pick a number of about 6. Done deal. Adam Ginsberg January 18th, 2008, 03:43 PM I think it is a combo of frame rate and shutter speed. I read an interview a long time ago with chris doyle where he talked about the process. I'll see if I can dig it up. Adam Ginsberg January 18th, 2008, 03:49 PM Try this on the LCD select shutter speed and change it to sls then pick a number of about 6. Done deal. Beautiful! That'll do it right there. Thank you thank you thank you Here's a dumb question I'll just toss in here. I'm assuming there is no numbered focus read out like on an hvx, a z75 mf38 or whatever. We just get the bar...? Chris Forbes January 18th, 2008, 04:43 PM Yes, but the bar represents not where the focus ring is positioned but what is in focus. ie camera is full wide and @ f16 the bar is very long vs. a small bar when zoomed all in with a f stop of 1.9 |
