Every time I load DVDSP (4.2.1) I get two bouncing folders in my dock titled "MultiMediaImporter.oxygene" I can force quit them which doesn't seem to affect DVDSP but I can't get it to stop.

I've done searches online and the two or three things that come up don't offer any fixes that work for me.

I've...
1) Deleted my DVDSP preference file (com.apple.dvdsp.plist)
2) Repaired my permissions
3) Uninstalled my DivX player/converter (as per a suggestion on one of the support forums I found)

all to no avail!

Anyone have any idea on what these are and how fix this? Thanks in advance.

I'm getting this as well.

These are background processes as part of frameworks that are for DVDSP (oxygene is the framework that does all the shape/drop zone effects processing, afaik)

I didn't have this problem until I wiped my machine, and installed Leopard and FCP, so I assumed it was a minor bug in DVDSP (which is due for a minor point update).

Is anybody running 10.5 & DVDSP and NOT getting these?

I'm not sure this is a bug but rather new behavior. It's annoying no doubt, but I think there might be a reason for the newly visible dock activity, but only Apple knows for sure.

I've run Activity Monitor while running DVDSP4 and noticed that these processes are running normally with no spikes in CPU or RAM loading, so all indications are the app is running smoothly. So far, I've not had any stability issues with DVDSP and just chalk up these new icons as strange but new behavior.

I'm not getting those programs running on my 10.5 system...

I did an erase and install of Leopard then installed Final Cut Studio 2. I'm on Quicktime 7.3 because of all the reports of bugs it causes with FCS, that might be the cause.
