Hey Everyone

Looking for some clarification on a wireless system. Sennheiser has a wireless lav kit which comes with a plugin transmitter for wired mics. I'm curious since most kits only have 1 receiver, can I use both the wireless lav transmitter and plugin transmitter at the same time? Of course, when I say this I mean with the signal going to just 1 receiver.

Here is a link to the kit I mentioned: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/324227-REG/Sennheiser_EW100ENGG2_A_Evolution_G2_100_Series.html

BTW, I just want to say Dan Brockett rocks! His review on Ken Stone's site is perfect and just in time.

Nope, each transmitter in simultaneous operation will need to be on a different frequency and have its own dedicated receiver. Now there are 'dual-channel' sets that have two receivers in the same box but the Sennheiser you're looking at isn't one them. With it, you can use either the bodypack transmitter or the plugon transmitter but not both at the same time unless you add a second receiver to the package.

made that mistake myself and now im looking for
a second receiver only to discover sennheiser charge
a ridiculous amount for a single receiver to lure you
into getting another kit leaving you yet again with another
odd one out.
