I am trying to make a 2min clip for the internet from a wedding I did for my website. I want to keep it under 10 meg if I can
Any advice on the best settings I should use in Vegas 8?
Thanks

I just rendered a 1:44 segment.
Using WMV at the 512 Kbps preset came to 6.5 megs.
Don't forget the iPod crowd either. The 320x240 preset came to 7.8 megs.

Niall.... if you don't mind spending an extra $30, go with QT Pro. Render an intermediate MOV (uncompressed at the frame size you desire), then open in QT7 and convert to H264. QT Pro is easy because of the nice presets.... which, as Mike noted, it has perfect parameters for iPod as well.
Flash is excellent too... and it is also based on the H264 codec.
