Here is the new Azden Mic i bought from Leo on this forum... and some pictures...

That's one ugly mount.. but they work... the issue however is now you have to go out and buy a dual shoe mount adapter to run the light and mount the mic.

For me, when shooting stereo, i use an ancient Panasonic VMS2e sereo mic. Can handle almost any SPL you throw at it. Works a treat and tested thoroughly with monster trucks LOL, so loud explosives don't blow out.

For shotgun, I use a Senny K6 and an ME64 mounted on the Canon mic mount itself. Had to insert a rubber stopper to make it fit, but its fine now.
It does pick up some noise, but I usually run wireless lapels when shooting and the shotgun is a backup.
