The thing that really struck me with this camera was its 60fps progressive @720p ability. There have been some negative reviews on consumer websites, but mainly because people had trouble with the mp4 format. Does anyone know where I can find sample clips of this camcorder?

I have one for testing (I contribute to a electronics magazine). HMX10 should be fine for home video, for anything above that its 1/6 sensor renders it unusable. It has trouble focusing in low light, noise level is ridiculous in lower light conditions and makes HD video look like footage from still cameras. And you need a hell of a fast computer to even play the footage at full speed.

Any idea if its true Progressive or if its internally upconverted as in the GZ-HD5 ? Thanks!

Also, does it have manual control of the gain and shutter speed ?
