Not entirely sure I've grasped the question, but here goes...............
If the LCD screen is attached to a PC, I'm not sure why it would matter whether it's Pal or NTSC - PC's don't use either for anything.
If it's being used as a television, then it should, somewhere, have a "Reset", "Redo Setup" or similar function that overides the "out of the box" setup routine.
Every television I've ever seen has a setting to allow the original "setup" to be either re - done in it's entirety, or selective bits edited.
Think you're going to have to give that manual a bit more effort.
By the way - what, exactly, is a "LMD1410" monitor anyway - nothing I've ever heard of. Make? Manufacturer? Country? Planet?
How come we don't even know what country you're in?
This place gets stranger every day.

The LMD1410 is a Sony "broadcast" monitor. It's not a computer monitor. The input it accepts may depend on what cards are installed. Usually you get options to have composite input, SDI, analog component, sometimes DVI, etc. A Google search can bring up some relevant links to information about the monitor.

Sorry I can't be of much help but some of the other Sony monitors will autodetect whether it's receiving PAL or NTSC. If not, you should be able to change it in the menu... read the manual carefully.
