I'm looking to invest some money into a wireless microphone system.

I need to have 3 transmitters (groom, pastor, podium).

Any recommendations?

Thank you.

Andre,
While most officiants are nice folks getting them to wear another mic (since most are mic'd to the PA system in the church) is a tough one and frankly I stopped trying a long time ago. I mic the lectern and the groom and use a hypercaroid on my primary camera and have found the audio from that set up works very very well PLUS I can monitor all of my audio coming in to the receiver. I recently switched to the Audio Technicia dual receiver and am very happy with the audio. I used to use 2 receivers 1 to my primary camera and 1 to my B camera which of course I could not monitor.
I guess what I'm saying is that unless you're using 3 camera, running 2 receivers to 1 cam and 1 to another OR using a mixer 2 wireless are in my opinion sufficient to accquire good audio at a wedding. You might think about a Zoom recorder or 2 but again you can't monitor them but they will get you another audio track for a decent price.

Diddo to everything Don said.

And getting a priest or pastor to wear a mic... all can say is... get ready for disappointment. Early in my career (more than 150 weddings ago) I asked a priest to wear one and he did everything but spit in my face. I mic the groom & the podium.

Yeah, the pastor might be tough to convince but I wouldn't stop trying.

I have about a 70% success rate mainly due to ornery Catholic priests. Every other denomination seems to be willing (at least with an iRiver which is smaller than a transmitter).
