Where can i buy an HV20 battery for cheap?
I'd like an official canon battery and charger just to avoid any 'nice' surprises with a 3rd party battery.
I don't mind buying online (obviously) but keep in mind i'm in canada.

Luca, I've used generics alongside my canon branded video and still camera for years and never had any problem... they share the canon charger ... B&H photo should be a sponsor here and you can see the price difference ..just fyi

I'll second what Dave said. I've used generics purchased thru B&H without any issue and they are a noticeable savings.

I recently bought some generic batteries from BestBatt.com for HV20 and XH-A1. Their price is good. So far the battery runs fine. I bought the BP-2L24.
