Since you have had some time to get used to the EX, how do you view the XDCAM 350?

When do you see the need to use the 350 over the EX?

the 350 is a breeze to use compared to the ex1 due to the form factor and superior lens I have. I use the ex1 90% for Letus Extreme stuff.

How does the image quality compare between the two?

Are they interchangeable?

I am in a tough spot between Panasonic & Sony as I look to upgrade my cameras.

I need at least one of my cameras to have a long lens.

The HPX-2000 and the XDCAM 355 seem to be the same price, but the HPX-2000 appeals to me more.

On the other hand, the EX seems to blow away the HVX-200 for what it is.

With the price of these cameras, I have to consider the "family" of products rather than buying two or three.

it's almost impossible to tell the difference between the two! Sometimes the EX1 even looks better. The chips are higher resolution that the F350 and F355.

I would choose the F355 over the panasonic equivalent. First off the lens are cheaper but more importantly the XDCAM discs are cheap and simply put the best storage media out there by a mile!

Seeing what you did with the Letus and the EX sure makes it a lot easier to want to part with the cash to get it!

I am now convinced the XDCAM line is the way for my upgrade.

I just watched some clips from the HPX-3000 and the EX shot in the same studio environment.

You could say the color was a bit better on the HPX-3000, but the detail was equal to a pleasing edge to the EX.

If a $7,000 camera can hold its own against a $45,000 + $30,000 lens, the choice is pretty clear for me.

regarding 35mm adapters, I see you work with both the Letus Extreme and the Brevis. What is the different between these adapters, and do they both work with F350 as well as EX-1 ?

i have got the extreme to work with the f350 but it needs a relay best. The Brevis with the f350 is just too long!

My Lens for the f350 is a canon 20x

I knew I never should have looked at this footage. Now Phil comes along with this unbelievable footage from the Ex1 and well I'm finished. I can't even look at the new Z1 camera our company bought without knowing for a fact, compared to the Ex1, it ain't jack! Well, I take that back the Z1 is a very nice camera but from what I've seen there really isn't a comparison.
