I have just purchased the retail version of the Aja Xena LHe card. Following previous instructions by David I used the Aja drivers included with Prospect2K. It works fine but I would like to add the extra functionality of the Aja own software when needed, i.e. Machina and the Photoshop plugin. What would be the best way to install just this and leave the other drivers and plugins provided by Cineform alone without messing with any Cineform functionality?...

AJA suggested dual booting, with we think is a little sad. You have to change the AJA drivers between the retail software and third party tools like CineForm.

Dual booting is not what I would like... Any other option to use Machina?

Its AJA generated issue, they created separate drivers for third parties from what they sell with the retail kit. I understand their reasons, but it doesn't reduce the frustration it can cause. AJA recommends dual boot, they have not suggesting anything else to us.

Anyway thank you for your reply, David. Even as is (without Machina), Aja and Cineform are the perfect couple. Hope Aja solves this issue in the near future.

No black flash, 10-bit accurate color, HDSDI connectivity (I/O), nice stuff.
