I am looking into purchasing Neo HDV for use with a Canon HV20. I have two computers I use in my workflow. My main machine is a desktop and I have a laptop that I sometimes use for live captures. I am interested in using HDLink when my camera is connected to my laptop but also would like to be able to use it on my desktop when I download videos for post from tape.
Do I need to purchase two separate copies of Neo or can I load it on both machines?
Thanks.

Hi Garrett,
Similar to Adobe's licensing scheme, you are technically allowed one activation for Neo HDV per our licensing agreement. But For Neo HDV and Aspect HD, in our database we actually enbale two activations for individuals in your situation - those who have a desktop machine and a laptop. So go to our registration site twice - one for each machine, and activate each separately.

Thanks David. That's what I was hoping. It's nice to know that Cineform, unlike so many other software manufacturers, actaully thought about how their software would be used and set up a licencing program that doesn't force us to spend extra dollars to be able to accomplish it.
Thanks for the quick response.

Is this still the case? Just tried a second HDV activation here- said serial already registered!
