I would like to recapture the M2T files in Vegas 8

When I click on 'Recapture All Offline Media' nothing happens

How do I recapture offline HDV files?

Help file says:

"If you've captured video files from a DV device using Sony Pictures Digital Video Capture, you can recapture your clips from the Vegas window if the media files are deleted."

My M2T files were captured by HDVSplit and Vegas doesn't like them

I am trying to find a way to recapture the files using Vegas
