Hi,
I'm working on a project that has about ten video tracks and I didn't know that also the audio was important so i deleted the audio tracks from the project but know the chief told me to use also the audio...
Do you know if there is a simple way to recall the audio of the tracks directly to the timeline?
I think it would be an useful option! : )
Thank you!

Make new audio tracks under the video tracks.
Double-click a video event to highlight it.
Right-click it and select "open in trimmer".
Right-click in the Trimmer window and select "audio only".
Drag the audio clip to the timeline under the video clip.
Repeat as necessary.

The easier way is via a script. That's why I put the Restore Missing A/V tool in Excalibur.

Hi guys,
One of the reason why I ungraded to V8 was because of this statement by Sony about V8 under tech. spec./ Editing and Workflow features:
A/V synchronization detect and repair
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/products/product.asp?PID=457&PageID=107
Do you mean to tell me this is not the case? I did search V8 for this feature and could not find it. Is there an additional plug-in that I have to purchase or install for this feature. If so this statement is very misleading.
Thank you.

The sync repair is that the track turns pink when out of sync
To restore synchronization, right-click the audio or video event you want to synchronize, choose Synchronize from the shortcut menu, and then choose a command from the submenu:

Thanks Jim. The feature for A/V sync is available. It doesn't have a feature for missing audio. Gotcha.
