I just called Monivision about their HD monitors (the Calif. sales office) and the price ISN'T $775, it's $1300! And that includes the both the 29 and the 30 inch. The salesman said it's the SAME price for both.
Forget it! Too pricey!

Go to the AVS HDTV recorders forum and you'll see the special $775 deal there for it.

Avoid, at all costs, conversion. The Monovision has enough rez for the JVC.
