So, I have no idea what lenses to get. I confess, I'm a video guy who wants a film look. Thus, I have not had much experience with photography lenses. I'm trying to find a lens that is manual and fast.
My question is, do lenses that have AutoFocus have the option to switch to Manual? Because EVERYTHING OUT THERE seems to be AF.
Any tips? Does a lens such as the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=149&modelid=8503#ModelDetailAct have the option of turning OFF the autofocus? I'm just looking to get a little educated without spending a bunch of money first.
