I have this option checked in my preferences yet whenever I open Vegas I get an empty project. This just started happening and I have no idea why or what else to do to make Vegas open on the last project. Any ideas? Vegas Pro 8.

Rebooting computer fixed it.

I think if you closed down Vegas with ALT+F4 or if it crashed, it won't open the last project.

I have that turned off because I'd rather take the extra 10 seconds to pick the project I want to open instead of waiting 1-2 minutes for the wrong one to open :)

My work flow is a bit different. My last one is always my first one. I switch to others while working on the current one. But thanks for the information -- I did experience a crash and that explains it.
