Surprisingly, I finally have stable NLE using P6.0 with WIN 98SE. I hate to change since I expect problems, but see need to upgrade to P6.5 and WIN XP. I have seen posts which say P6.5 upgrade is installed "alongside" P6.0 so you can have both available if you want (ultimately need to move plug-ins to P6.5 and delete P6.0). A friend has WIN XP installed as dual boot with WIN 98SE since older applications he has are not compatible with WIN XP. SO, can I install P6.5 upgrade with WIN XP and "dual boot" into that system while having P6.0 and WIN 98SE untouched for use while debugging new system??

In theory you can. Make sure that you:
1) do NOT upgrade your harddisk to NTFS (otherwise Win98 cannot
boot or access the disk(s))
2) install Windows XP besides Win98 and thus in a different
directory then where you have Win98 installed (c:\windows ?)
3) install Premiere into a DIFFERENT directory then you have it
running under Win98
This *should* give you two different systems to work on. If
Premiere has something in C:\Program Files\Common Files you
are probably out of luck.

Thanks for taking time away from Lady X for this help, Rob. Once I get some basics figured out I may be ready to start a Lady B series (quite a bit behind Lady X).
