Hello
I'm trying decide what to do
get a focus 180 min battery with the bigger cradle for the DR 100
or buy a B4B 90watt battery and run off the D tap connector
I use a IDX BATT SYS.

any opinions

thanks

Hello
i called B&H on the bigger cradle for 180 min battery
and B&H said i can't not connect it to my IDX mount
it must be connected to the hot shoe on my 110
its seems that you should have the option to connect to the bracket or the hot shoe
I guess i'll just have to use the tap on the IDX with a more powerful batt.

thanks
Joe

I have it running of the D-tap, works like a charm.
And I never charge my DR-HD100, because it never gets the chance to discharge as it also charges itself through the same D-tap.

I too run the FS-4 exclusively off of our IDX powertap connection from the 110. Has always worked perfectly. They are actually Anton Bauer Cables, but are still compatible. Not to add a cheap plug, but we have 2 available if you are interested in purchasing one. Send me an email......

Thanks guys

I have a D tap cable but thank you for the offer on the D tap cable, what are you asking for it?

I know what i'm going to do

what size watt Battery do you use

and how much shooting time do you get on your battery using the Dr 100

Hello

like i said before i got the B4B 120WH BATTERY.

So i got in touch with Focus about the 90 min battery that came with Dr100.

ask if it was all right to leave the 120 wh battery connected to the DR 100
via D tap cable all the time of course when using camera. Got and email saying (BIG NO) that it will damage
the Dr100 90min battery because it will over charge it
they said once the 90min batt is charge disconnect the D tap Jack from the DR 100
My question is it all right leave the D tap cable connect to IDX battery mount
will it still drain my camera battery even though its not connected to anything
i put a little rubber cover the D Tap jack

Would like to get your thoughts on this

thank you
JOE
