I could not find a forum for this camera, if there is I apologize.

Does anyone know the format this camera is recording in? Thinking about buying it because of the price for BTC. Everywhere it talks about how it records to an easy burn format. But can I drop this in my NLE?

All DVD camcorders burn to an MPEG2 format, which isn't easy to edit, I'm afraid. Some NLE's can handle it, but most can't, and the results wouldn't be as good or easy as miniDV either way.
