Can anyone recommend a low profile UV or clear filter for the F350 that wont affect the HD picture i.e. soften it?
I have a Fuji XS17x5.5BRM-M38 lens with 82mm filter thread.
Thanks,
Paul.

Almost any good quality 82mm UV or clear glass should be OK. So long as the glass is optically flat you shouldn't have a problems. I have a Tiffen that I use most of the time and a couple of cheap ebay clear glass filters that I use when I know I'm going to be in dust and dirt as I often end up scratching them.

Do you have a low profile Tiffen UV filter - if one is available? (I couldn't tell from the Tiffen web site) - do you get any vignetting on full wide with your lens?

I have a standard thickness Tiffen, my lens is a canon KH20x6.7 so not as wide as yours but I don't get any vignetting. The ebay filters are low profile. The only problem I have with then is that they are not coated so sometimes you get reflections. Hoya do some good low cost(ish) low profile 82mm UV filters.

As you'll see in my details - I'm in the UK - do you have UK distribution?

Hi Paul,
I have been using a Hoya low profile UV filter. It seems fine optically and I am not seeing any vignetting on my HSs18x5.5 lens.
