Hello, Everyone.
I posted a clip of this a few months back and some of you have asked to see the entire thing, so here it is. Warts and all! I have a link to the full film buried in the GL1 forum as I was trying to show the film to a fellow DV'er but thought I should give it an official link.
First films are always fun and a great learning experience. I learned a lot of what "not" do on this film. Like to never mount a larger production without a "sound guy" (my buddy did a good job of holding the boom but neither of us is adept at sound) and to watch my in camera settings more carefully.
I went really dark with this, and pushed it to the edge. Maybe over the edge in some scenes. I've always hated houses that looked "lit" by fake moonlight so I tried to make this look like what is was: A house without light. I forgot though, people want to see the actors despite this. It is something I will be more careful to balance in the future.
Please leave feedback. All questions and comments, negative or positive , are welcome.
