After you mailed in the rebate, how long did it take till you received the money?

Its been about a month and a half for me and nothing yet.

I think it took me a few months.

Mine took about 4 weeks. It was one of the fastest rebates I had ever received!

Mine was quick as well, last Spring, within 4 weeks. Rebating is outsourced, and the rebate outfit may do it in batch processing every few weeks.

About four weeks for me.

Got mine in about 4 weeks. Very fast. That was last week I received it.

That's a long time, Shiv. Are you sure your materials were received? I just got an e-mail from rebatetrack.com today, stating that my request was received, and they provided a link to check up on the status. Have you ever gotten a message like this?

In all honesty I should be on their case. When I last checked their website said the rebate is valid and a check has been issued and to allow for 30 days for the check to arrive.

I then emailed them giving them info and such and never heard back from them but I've also not followed up on it.

If all was to go well I should have received the rebate (as per the date they say) in 2 months.

I'm going to get on their case again this week :).

I don't know if this matters, but I bought mine from ZGC (thanks to Chris for the great customer assistance), who are one of the forum sponsors.

I got words back from them today (only email correspondence possible) saying they'll send me another check and that will take 15 days or so. So I'm hopeful.

Bought mine from ZGC and it took me 6 weeks to get my $ back from this rebate system.

Took about 5-6 weeks.

6 weeks. I received two checks at the same time.

WOW! It only took 22 days to get mine back. I mailed it out the day my camera showed up.

I called canon today, 8 months after i sent my rebate and they said they have no records under my name. And its too late to submit another rebate because it has expired. Very frustrating.

well that is a load of crap. Sorry to hear that. did you check the maximum amount of time they have to send it? If it is less than 8 months, then you're probably out of luck.

It's been 3 weeks for me, I just got the email that it is processing.

Not to sidetrack, but Lou, how did you get two checks? two different models or two different people??
