Hi all,
I just picked up a Canon HV20, and am capturing tapes for a producer that were shot by somebody else. All of the tapes so far have appeared to be regular 60i DV. I just loaded a new tape to capture and the HV20 is reporting that the tape is DV 24F.
I understand that 24F and 24P are not the same thing. I am wondering if the HV20 distinguishes between DV 24P/24PA footage shot on something like a DVX, and 24F footage shot on a A1/G1/H1?
Mainly wondering if I should go ahead and capture this as 480i60 DV, or if I need to select a different preset in FCP 6.
thanks
