Here are the release notes from Apple on the FCS2 update. This will also remove the pulldown as well.
The following new Easy Setup improves HDV 1080p24 footage workflows:
HDV-Apple ProRes 422 1080p24: Use this Easy Setup to transcode HDV 1080p24 footage from the Sony HVR-V1 camcorder to the Apple ProRes 422 codec during capture.
Two new capture presets are available for you to use for capturing and transcoding HDV footage to the Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) codecs:
HDV-Apple ProRes 422: Use this capture preset to transcode HDV footage to the Apple ProRes 422 codec during capture.
HDV-Apple ProRes 422 (HQ): Use this capture preset to transcode HDV footage to the Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) codec during capture.
You can also use these new capture presets to create Easy Setups for capturing and transcoding HDV footage to the Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) codecs.
