I was thinking of buyng a filter or two, and would like to see some shots that compare filtered and unfiltered footage. I've seen some of the recent posts concerning this, but I need more. I was specifically interesed in black pro mist, and ultracon filters. If anyone has any links or pics (besides the guy with the dog, and the page with six thousand pictures of a woman, each with a different filter) let me know. Thanks.

And another question about filters: does anyone know where to buy decent filters in the Netherlands? I saw some in a large electronics store, but somehow I don't trust a company that manufactures glue and other hobbyist supplies to make good filters.

There is some information on the various filters. the pricing is excellent, I've dealt with the filter connection with no problem.

http://www.tiffen.com has good filter info. Also, go to your local camera shops and ask them for the free filter brochures.

This really gets into the characteristics of each filter.

I found this really cool page that although it was taken with an HD camera it's one of the few that actually has pictures you can see a larger version of... why others (ESPECIALLY THE DANG MANUFACTURERS!) don't do this I don't know...
