Hi there, this afternoon I took some shots on Ciutat de les Arts in Valencia with my combo and, although it's not more than a early test, with little color grading, I've uploaded it in case someone is interested.
Lenses are nikon 50mm f1.4 and 17-35mm f2.8

Quick conclusions:
- I need a monitor to a)proper focus and b)adjust vignetting
- Closing down camera aperture, image is a bit soft
- 17mm barrel distorsion is more evident than I thought
- I should have shot this sooner, there wasn't enough light

Ok, there you are, best regards.

Here's (http://img215.imageshack.us/my.php?image=letuspruebals5.jpg) a grab with a bit of color correction and post vignetting.

Love the images! the green tint worked too!

Many these new Canon single CCD CMOS sensors kick ass!!!!

What is the real disadvantage of an HV20+Letus extreme setup vs a HXA1? If we're talking strictly from the perspective of the "impact" of the final image?

The image thru the 35mm adapter is far better than the HXA1 stock IMO.. and much cheaper too!

In my opinion, A1 will perform much better in low light conditions but with proper lighting, I love this hv20+letus combo. Sharp image, nice bokeh and uncompressed 1920x1080p@4:2:2 hdmi output (I've not tried it yet as my system can't hold pci-e cards) for great color grading.
I'm quite happy with my setup :D

Thanks and regards!

thanks Aaron, I hope this weekend will at last be able to spend a whole day shooting with my extreme.
And yes, hv20 is tiny and wonderful.
