I am doing a documentary soon where I will be in very close quarters and would like to get a Wide Angle Adapter Lens for some of the shots.
Which adapter have some of y'all used that you recommend?
I have seen some adapters that made the shot look really cheap and fake looking. I understand that it wont be amazing looking because its a screw on adapter but I'd like to get some ideas on this.
Here is one I was looking at called a "Wide Angle Adapter"

This ones says "Wide Angle Converter"

Whats the difference?

Or you could just get the canon 3x wide angle lens.
The are affordable used.

The Canon 3x lens is excellent. Converters like the Century Optics ones you listed add glass to what's already there and reduces the light

While accessory optics do reduce light, they do not to any appreciable level that could be noticed in exposure. The light loss on any Schneider Optics' Century wide angle lens is going to be less than 1/10th of a stop. Not enough to make any difference to even the most decerning eye.
The Canon 3x is an excellent lens no doubt but also an expensive option. Century has many wides angles that are less expensive including wide angles that fit onto the Canon 3x.

A wide angle converter is a multi element piece that enables full zooming capability.
A wide angle adapter is a single element piece that enables partial zooming.
