After perusing the "DVD and Web Delivery" board I guess the consensus is that Taiyo Yuden is the way to go for Inkjet DVD-R's.
That being said, where is a reliable place online to order them?
Sorry mods if this is a no-no...asking for vendor info.
Thanks!

the tayo are great but very expensive.
and about printable DVD there is also another factor, it is the quality of the printable layout.
My experience show that RITEK G05 (the 8x speed) is the better choice for quality and price. They are cheaper, works as well, and the white printable layout is excellent.

Newegg stocks them: http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/Brand.asp?Brand=8330&name=The-Taiyo-Yuden-at-Newegg
Such is TY's reputation, fakes are also on the market so beware.

I order the ty watershields from www.rima.com
these are rated at 16x, i burn them at 8x and have not had any problems.

Another vote for the TY Watershields. I've used hundreds of them and they not only burn error-free, but the resulting surface printout is great and will not smear if it gets wet. I know people aren't supposed to "wet" their discs, but even sweaty fingers can cause most printable discs to smear.
I've bought both from www.rima.com and www.supermediastore.com. If you buy in bulk (even as small as 100) you can get these at a great price. Even though there are less expensive alternatives out there, I like the peace of mind of knowing that I'm not going to burn a lot of coasters.
