Just trying to get my head around multiclip editing in FCP 6.
I've got to the point where I can play the timeline and select the camera angles. Markers are laid along the track as I switch camera views.
Now, according to all the tutorials I have read, as soon as I press the spacebar to stop playback, those markers should act as edit points for the multiclip and I should be left with the resultant shots sequence.
However, when I stop playback the markers just disappear and no edit points actually get implimented.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
Also, is there a way to edit between shots with multiclip without having to play back the timeline in realtime? The manual and other articles I have read seem to suggest that it is possible, but I haven't been able to make things work despite following the instructions to the letter. Or at least what I think is the letter! :-)
