When setting a new sequence in Premiere, I know I need to chose a CineForm preset but which one?

My footage is from a V1U which makes a 60i M2T stream, but shot in the 24a mode. Do I choose the 60i or the 23.976? Will the preset automatically remove the excess frames? The manual wasn't clear...

It seems that even if I do pick 23,976 or 24 or 60i, it looks the same. (It is interlaced and not the 24P)

I am trying to directly import the M2T files, (The HDLink keeps freezeing but that is another thread) do they need to be converted first, or do the M2T files work directly in Premiere and converted while working?

I am guessing now that I would need to convert my M2T files first to the CineForm codec with HDLink?

Convert is HDLink first is the only way to remove pulldown. Using "3-2 Pulldown" filter checked, and nothing else.

Thats what I was afraid of considering the problems I having in the other thread, but at least one less possibility to play with...
