I am working in Europe but now i have a customer in Canada. So i have to show my progress with given clip, which is about 13mins long.
So i compressed mpg1 file with tmpgenc presuming that world`s most supid computer can open it. But no - my customer experiencing problems to run it!

Now i figured that maybe mac doesn`t eat mpg1 so well - i have to try qt!
So i tried different codecs(sorensen, mpeg-4, cinepak, jpg2000) in mov container. I got in result files abut 500MB to 2GB. This is crazy - i need only preview! My mpg1 file was 130MB @ 320x240 x 13mins.
What audio and video codec i should use to be sure it opens there overseas almost in every computer.

Frank,

What about MPEG 2 in the MPEG container file? I'd be shocked if someone couldn't play that with the quicktime player or windows media player.
