Charles Mabry September 19th, 2009, 01:33 PM ????? I know the dif between the cameras... I have one of each. I also have a portabrace rainslicker for the z1u.... great condition. Ken Grohs September 19th, 2009, 03:42 PM Darin thank you for posted back with those information. i went to BH and search for Petrol Hood i found some but don't know what to get. I read the spec for 3.5" 2.7" and 2.5" i just want to make sure which one fit right importantly the inside Petrol | PMH-3 Mini Hood - for Camcorders with 3.5" | PMH-3 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/381858-REG/Petrol_PMH_3_PMH_3_Mini_Hood_.html) Petrol | PMH-A1U Micro Hood | PMH-A1U | B&H Photo Video (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/419117-REG/Petrol_PMH_A1U_PMH_A1U_Micro_Hood.html) Petrol | PMH-2 Mini Hood - for Camcorders with 3.5" | PMH-2 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/273027-REG/Petrol_PMH_2_PMH_2_Mini_Hood_.html) Petrol | PMH-1 Mini Hood - for Small Camcorders with | PMH-1 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/264606-REG/Petrol_PMH_1_PMH_1_Mini_Hood_.html) Thanh, if you look at the specs for the 2nd link you posted it says it's for 2.7" diagonal LCDs, not 2.5" Should be a perfect fit. -Ken (Sorry, Darin, for the continuation of the hijack of your thread... 8-) ) Ken Beals September 19th, 2009, 03:51 PM Looking for gently used PD170. Tom Weistar September 19th, 2009, 04:15 PM For sale near mint Marantz PMD660 field recorder. $330 shiped and PayPal. email tweistar@synergia.us In perfect working condition. Packed as new in the original box including: manual, AC power supply, strap, cables, and software. It has seen very little use. It has a couple light scuffs on the back and the battery door. Tim Snyder September 20th, 2009, 09:56 AM Petrol PEGZ-3 - SOLD Rolls MX422 4 Channel Pro Field Mixer $350 - REDUCED!! Tim Snyder September 20th, 2009, 09:57 AM LOWERED TO $450!! Want to sell ASAP! Bob Hart September 20th, 2009, 11:00 AM Steve Rice is considering selling his Mini35-400 with JVC GY-HD100 relay lens, mount and battery receiver. He has moved on to the SI2K. He is working up a movie project and kitting for 3D so needs to liquidate some goods. I am also considering likewise for the same reasons. The second Mini35-400 has the JVC relay, mount and battery receiver, also Sony HVR-Z1 relay, mount and battery receiver. I also built a home-made hack with Century lens for the Sony PMW-EX1. This consists of a Century Optics 58mm 4+ achromatic dioptre in custom concentric 77mm to 58mm stepdown ring. The well known corner softness issues inherent to the EX1 in 35mm relay are apparent. The 35mm adaptor manufacturers provide a special achromat for this camera. The special relay lens kit for the EX1 available from P+S Technik is needed for best results. The Sony Z1 base mount and battery pack work for the EX1. The Sony 7.2v batteries are required for the EX1 version as the MINI35 works on 7.2vDC only. Test vision from the Sony PMW-EX1 hack can be seen here :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpm72LpoV0k Peter Manojlovic September 20th, 2009, 11:10 AM I've never heard of the CH-900 dual charger. It would be great to have ont in my arsenal, along with the 970 battery... Would you be willing to part with those two items?? Thnx.. Darin Clifton September 20th, 2009, 12:13 PM I'd like to keep the package together for now Peter. There was a CH-900 on eBay the other day for around $95 I think. The 900 may be the pre-910 model. Darin Clifton September 20th, 2009, 01:13 PM Still have it ? Thanks, DArin Keith Rollinson September 20th, 2009, 03:28 PM Thanks DVINFO (but sold elsewhere...) Scott Brickert September 20th, 2009, 04:05 PM It's still for sale. Craig Demaer September 20th, 2009, 04:58 PM hv20s and steadicam gone, still a mint XHA1 up for grabs though! Darin Clifton September 20th, 2009, 05:27 PM Message sent. Thanks, Darin John Stakes September 21st, 2009, 06:11 AM thanks for the posts Charles but I'm not sure if those will work. I know the one for the V1U does not cover the battery compartment, at least not without modification. I'm just going to hold off until I get the one that was made for my cam. Latest Craigslist update Thanks Office Share Hudson St (http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/off/1385267886.html) Darin Clifton September 21st, 2009, 12:00 PM Nick, I have the VL-10Li that I've been using on my A1. Great Light ! I have my camera for sale and if it goes today or tomorrow - I'll be ready to move the light. [ I don't want to have to hang on to a Canon charger & different batteries. ] I have the Canon VL-10Li with 2 big after-market batteries, a diffuser and a small charger that I could turn loose of. I've used one of those batteries for probably more than an hour so far and didn't run it down - so I don't really know how long they last with it. The good thing is the light works great with the A1 - and you don't have to carry around different batteries for different equipment. UPDATE: Camera sold. Do you have an offer on the light ? Darin James Huenergardt September 21st, 2009, 12:51 PM The monitor has been sold. Greg Bellotte September 21st, 2009, 12:52 PM Thanks Vasco, pleasure doing business with you! Darin Clifton September 21st, 2009, 03:24 PM Bump , Bump to the UPS truck ! Sold pending payment. Thanks Guys !! Darin Tom Weistar September 21st, 2009, 04:01 PM Anyone? Is the price too high? They still go for $500 new. Tyge Floyd September 21st, 2009, 07:44 PM Darin, Do you have a link for the diffuser shown? I have that same light setup and would like to add a diffuser. Were you happy how this one works? Does it kill the throw of the light? Darin Clifton September 21st, 2009, 09:30 PM Tyge, I don't have a link for the diffuser. I found one on eBay that's close to it - but out of the country. It does work quite well for the VL-10. I've tried searching flash diffusers with little luck. I found a post that suggested a couple : Dot Line | Mini Softbox for Speedlights | RS-3500 | B&H Photo (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/650629-REG/Dot_Line_RS_3500_Mini_Softbox_for_Speedlights.html) LumiQuest | Mini SoftBox - for Shoe-Mount Flashes | LQ-108 | B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/544395-REG/LumiQuest_LQ_108_Mini_SoftBox_for.html) You might give these a try. Hope this helps. Darin Mark Lyon September 21st, 2009, 10:49 PM Dropping the price. $1000 takes it! Roze Hanks September 22nd, 2009, 09:04 AM If anyone has a Sennheiser rig they would like to sell... God Bless, R Robert Kirkpatrick September 22nd, 2009, 11:00 AM If it hasn't been sold yet, I just shot you a pm. Nick Skinner September 22nd, 2009, 12:42 PM Darin how much are you asking for the light? Also will the batteries work to run the XHA1 camera? Darin Clifton September 22nd, 2009, 01:26 PM Nick - I resent the email again to you regarding the light & batteries. Darin Mark Aardsma September 22nd, 2009, 02:16 PM Sold to me.
