This model is the original A1. It's been great for us. Not sure how many hours, but not a crazy amount as we've had an H1 as our main camera (which I'll be selling soon, too).

We did just recently send this camera to Canon for a few hundred dollar regular maintenance checkup, so it's cleaned up and in great/near perfect shape.

I'm selling it for $2500. Feel free to request pics and I'll send you an email.

FWIW, I'll also be posting a full Brevis setup that we used briefly with the A1. We have the full MP.2 system with the Proteus mount, rails, Nikon mount, etc. With it I'll be selling a couple Nikon primes and a large Nikon zoom. (I don't think our unit is the flip version, I'll have to check.)

Let me know if interested in both and I can price it nicely to take it all of our hands. We have a RED now, so we don't use this stuff at all.

Thanks!

I am selling my Canon XH-A1, it has low hours, used for weddings only. Very well taken care of, kept in pelican case. I am not selling however since its also the case for my other equipment.

I simply do not need it any more, and my wedding business never took off. After the 3rd wedding I simply had more trouble than it was worth in finding clients and figured I should just focus on school (I'm film student. Senior year.)

I am looking to get at $2800USD or so, but make me an offer and we can go from there.

If separating, photos and suggested asking price for the Brevis setup would be nice.

Just wanted to say that Kyle met me with his gear in Hammond, La. I decided not to buy because it was a bit more than I could spend and still sleep... but Kyle was super cool, very professional, all around good guy. His gear was immaculate and I'm so glad that the fellow in Florida got it! So if you see something for sale from Kyle ... it will be top notch. He keeps everything very well covered and maintained.

Thanks again Kyle and hope we bump into each other on a shoot some day. I owe ya a cup of coffee! :-) God Bless, Roze

Paul, maybe you're aware of this - the Intensity Pro got a price change a few months ago - the street price is now $190 at your favorite retailer, including forum sponsor B&H.

I got one for use with Vegas (works great), and the occasional raw live capture from camcorder (haven't really tried that yet), been pretty satisfied with it.

Thank You Roger and Roze for the kind words. I have enjoyed posting comments, selling some of my equipment and reading all of the threads on this site. I have met some great people on this site.

Again, Thank You...

Yes, I will get to that. For now, I can send photos to anyone interested rather than post the same pics everyone has of the A1.

I have to find the time to get in to set up the Brevis again, but if anyone is interested, let me know as there are many configurations in which I could sell this stuff.

Thanks.

I am upgrading my set-up, so the A1 needs a new owner to baby it. Here's what I have in the package:

Canon XH-A1 HDV camcorder including original box

All original accessories:
Canon BP-950G battery
Battery Charger/ Power adaptor
DC Coupler
AV/ Component video cables
Canon WL-D5000 Remote control
Operating Manual
Strap

Tiffen lens filter/protector - camera has never been used without it.

I'll also include :
(1) Canon BP-945 4500mah Battery
(1) Lenmar BP-970G 7200mah Battery
(1) Canon CH-900 Dual Battery charger.
The CH-900 dual battery charger/holder holds two battery packs. You can charge them consecutively and connect directly to the A-1 to provide twice the playback time.
(1) Petrol LCD sunshade - very nice , folds flat for transport - sets up in seconds.

I have the memory card loaded with several custom presets. This camera has been well cared for and hasn't given me a minutes trouble.

The camera will be offered here first - but if no one needs it , I'll go to eBay next week.

I'll sell the package for $2775.00 TYD - US lower 48 only. I will take Bank check/ Money Order. Pay Pal add $25.00 for fees. If you have questions - please email me here or at alwff135@yahoo.com .

Thanks,
Darin

Darin Clifton
September 18th, 2009, 10:52 PM
Thanh,

The shade doesn't have a number on it. Here are the measurements if that will help:
Flat : 8" wide x 7 1/4" tall
Folded : 3 3/4" wide x 3" tall
Viewfinder opening - 2 9/16" wide x 1 13/16" tall

This one fits the A1 perfectly .

Who is the manufacturer of the slicker and polar mitts and what are you asking for each or all?

Gabor Heeres
September 19th, 2009, 03:55 AM
Philip,

Walkart S-6640 Rain Cover (http://www.globalmediapro.com/dp/A01NA9/Walkart-S-6640-Rain-Cover/)

If you would like to try an example of this I can bring one next weeks monday when I will be at the Manchester Airport.

The measurements from the A1U shade appear to be a perfect match with the dimensions I gave you. There's detailed specs on the Petrol site for this one. It's made for 2.7' diagonal screens. I got mine from a guy on eBay - when he sent it to me he actually sent that one and one for the Z1 in the same box.

Guess that would be a key piece of information. Theyre all portabrace covers. IM thinking maybe 100 for the Rainslickers and 150 for the polar mittens. Im open to offers though. I no longer have PD170s so they are of no use to me. I also have 7 wide conversion lenses, some new, some used. they all have lens caps and bags. And ND filter kits.... if interested let me know and Ill get you any info you might need
