Hi Paul -
Let me dig around, I'm pretty sure I've got a dual wall charger on my "surplus list", maybe a couple batteries too... I'll e-mail you with what I've got in case it's what you need!

Hi Dave,

Well I took a different path and purchased two Swit batteries from Dolgin today. This means I will most likely sell my Sony BP-U60 batteries once these show up.

Reason is I now need to power the Nano flash at the same time as my EX1.

Cool, I just figured if stuff I'm not using would be of help I'd be glad to work a deal, glad you've got a solution that works, that's the most important thing!

Thanks Steve,
I'm looking for one here in Aust or NZ so I dont have to pay the import tax.
Oh and I forgot I'm after a used one.

Cheers

The places I mentioned do have them used - in fact BBList had one that came with a lens and batteries for about £7500 I think. Understand about not wanting to pay import duty though!
Oh, and I did have one birefly and thought it was a very good camera.

I know this is a long shot but worth asking anyway.

I have a EX1 that has been perfect for the last 18 months. I can not afford to own a EX1 and EX3 at this time and need to use some 35mm lens for some upcoming shoots on a EX3 with Mike's adapter.

So if anyone wants a EX1 and has a EX3 for sale lets talk trade and cash.

Great condition, gently used, 169 hrs on the drum. Comes in original box, all accessories plus the optional IDX kit with dual charger ($1200 value). Free bag too. Lens is perfect, has had UV filter on since day one, not even a dust particle on the glass.

I need around $3200 for the whole set up, the cam alone has been valued at that price by "buyers" from a couple of our favorite shops. I'd rather sell direct.

Email me at ridikolus@gmail.com if interested.

I bought this mic a couple of years ago when I thought I was going to get into filmmaking, this never happened, so the mic was probably only used a couple of times, mainly just while testing out my camera. The mic is in mint condition and I still have the case and mic stand holder, however I don't have the little foam windscreen that came with it as I never used it as I was using a zeppelin style windscreen, but will include a Tensimount shock mount if you can use it.

I've reduced the price from $300 to $250 and moved it to the correct section as it is not listed on eBay.

I'm interested. But only if it comes with a battery or if a battery can easily be connected to it without to many extra costs. And does it come with a camera (shoe)mount?

Terry Lee
August 24th, 2009, 07:41 AM
The camera was purchased before last winter and used to film a car show and a birthday party.

I recorded a total of two tapes on this camera so there are only roughly 2 hours of running time on it.

The camera is in perfect condition, no dents or scratches.

Comes with remote, charger and all other cables.

Asking price - $1450

Am also interested in trade. Please PM or post here if you have any questions.

Darrell is listing the light at $429 + $25 for shipping ($454). I'd be willing to sell for $400 with free shipping. At this time, I'm not interested in selling parts of the kit separately.

I guess I should also mention that I'm open to reasonable offers. Post here or send me a message. If you need more information on the light, I can provide that as well.

Thanks!

Camera + Extras & CP have SOLD!

Now I need to sell the EWA-Marine bag, Kata rain cover and Redeye wide angle!

I live in the Orlando, Florida area.

Here's what I am selling (if it's not listed here, it's not included):

2. 72mm Red Eye .7 Wide Angle (non-zoom thru) + leather case: $350, normally $400

The Red Eye is about the size of a filter and weighs less than 100 grams. The bulk and weight have been eliminated by using a durable and compact, high index, high clarity optical material which substantially reduces the size and weight of the lens. Multi-layer anti-reflective coating to increase light transmission to near 100% for optimum image clarity, contrast and sharpness. In addition, hard coatings offer an extra degree of scratch resistance and improve water repellency. The lens housing is anodized aluminum and uses standard 72mm thread mount.

3. EWA VXA Marine Bag + carrying case (used once in my pool, didn't need it in Hawaii): $500, normally $550

The VXA is the 10 meter depth housing for the Canon XH-A1 and XH-G1 digital HD camcorders. Designed specifically for these camcorders the model VXM housing is manufactured from double laminated PVC and has an integrated, optically neutral flat glass port. Perfect for snorkeling or shallow diving, sandy, dusty, humid or foul weather conditions this housing will give your camera the best possible protection whilst being fully operable. It has a pair of non-corrosive and seawater resistant clamping rails which fit together for perfect sealing. They tighten by means of knurled thumb screw knobs. The straps at the bottom allow weights to be attached for perfect buoyancy under water. It is supplied in a handy yellow carry-case which has a water-proof interior and zippered side-pocket. Includes:
* yellow carry-case which has a water-proof interior and zippered side-pocket
* manual for ewa-marine video housings
* initial supply of CD5
* foam padding
* CAF ring with 72 mm filter thread adapters

4. Kata CRC-14 Rain Bag: $85, normally $100

I would like to sell my Canon XL H1 and accessories. The XL H1 was purchased new from B&H in August 2006. Camera was very well cared for and is in excellent condition (there is a very small wear mark on the underside of the handle). It was used mostly on corporate gigs and commercial productions. There is one year left under the MACK warranty I purchased for it from B&H in August 2006 - Which I will transfer to the purchaser. I'm also listing the following accessories which I will unfortunately only be able to sell if the XL H1 sells. I am selling this equipment because I am interested in another camera system that better suits the majority of work I do. All equipment save the 16x manual lens was purchased from B&H. Photos available upon request.

XL H1 with all original kit accessories and Canon HC-3200 Hard Case - $4800

Canon 6X Wide angle lens (like new condition) - $1700

Canon 16x Manual Lens - $500

Anton Bauer adapter plate for XL cameras - $80

Anton Bauer Digital HyTRON 140 NiMH battery worth -$300

Anton Bauer Titan on camera AC power/charger -$400

Feel free to contact me anytime by email: benjaminjoelrichardson@gmail.com or by phone: 315-529-2090, and if you happen to be anywhere in Central New York - I'd be happy to meet.

Putting the feelers out for my rig as I'm building a new one:
-Canon XH-A1 with a couple hundred hours of use, on-camera microphone is badly loose (shotgun mic holder is solid), firewire port is loose, camera overall is cosmetically decent and functionally great. Shotgun mic holder screw is a little off-center from a bump.
-120GB Firestore FS-4HD capable of 13hours of HDV recording time, and very fast footage offloading -- 5-10x realtime. The firestore is well beaten up but works great.. screen has some deep scratches and LCD is sluggish, battery retention clip is broken but battery stays in when attached to the Anton plate.
-Anton Bauer plate with extended 8ft cable to camera battery compartment. Cable also has a firewire cable for the firestore. Adapter included to provide power to firestore.
-Canon TA-100 camera plate included, tripod plate not included.
-camera remote
-might be able to find the original battery and include it
-original manual

Basically the camera remains pretty light as it doesn't have a battery or tape in it. The cables run 8ft (i.e. to a backpack) where the firestore sits being powered by the anton battery plate. Camera and hard drive can do about 8-9hr of continuous recording on a single Dionic 90 or a much more ridiculous runtime on a Dionic 160. Amazing for ENG work.

This kit is well used and not in perfect condition.. I'd rate it at decent. It works, but just know that it's nowhere near mint condition. The loose firewire port has been okay for a year but will someday need to be replaced. I looked up the part from Canon and it's $35 without installation. I will consider fixing this for a buyer just because I don't want to deal with unmanaged expectations. Sometimes you have to jiggle the firewire cable to get the firestore to connect. Sometimes you have to jiggle it a little more. Once it 'connects', it's good for a while but if you bump it too hard, you have to jiggle again. I've never had a problem but I don't want to make any guarantees.

Asking 3k shipped for everything. 3500 with two used dionic 90 knockoffs and a digital charger. That would make it a totally turnkey system.
