Jad Meouchy July 25th, 2009, 12:52 AM I've got for sale a Sachtler DV6 tripod kit in good shape, fully functional and in nice cosmetic condition despite about a year of use. The tilt lock knob is a little off center, which is the case with many Sachtler heads I've used, not sure why. Also, the sticker on one side is missing.
Willing to sell the head alone with plate for 1k shipped, or with sticks (DA-75/2D ENG 4187), Sachtler spreader, and Sachtler hard case for 1300 shipped. The head/plate is the spring-loaded kind where it snaps in with automatic tightening, and the spring is absolutely solid.
The head:
Weight: 2.4 kg / 5.3 lb
Payload: 1 - 9 kg / 2.2 - 20 lb
Counterbalance: 5 steps
Grades of drag: 5 each horizontal and vertical + 0
Tilt range: +90/-75°
The sticks:
DA-75/2D ENG 4187
Material: Aluminum
Load: 44.1 lb
Size: 75mm 3” Half Bowl
Min height: 13.2"
Max height: 57.6"
Stages: 2/3
Clamp: Quick Clamp Torque Lock
Weight: 5.1 lb
Spreader is in great shape, also Sachtler brand (SP-75 I believe).
Hard case is Sachtler brand, not sure on model number, but it is what comes with the DV6 kit.

Adrian J. Hare July 25th, 2009, 06:53 AM This camera has been used and works great. I sent it into canon to be cleaned and I replaced the heads brand new. Canon offered me a deal on a new chassy as well and I decided to change it all.
This camera is Brand new with no hours on the inside at all. Everything works great and included is a home made mic wire for the onboard mic. 2 batteries, Charger, Ma100, a XL1S Manual and everything in the picture except for the remote. (The remote disapeared somewhere) There is no case included but I have a camo rain jacket that is not in the picture.
The Camo on this camera will come off easy and will not leave any residue what so ever. The color is a pearl white body.
$1000 + shipping, I will ship in NA.
I do have a paypal account or EMT, Money Orders as well
Emails can be sent to bosstom@hotmail.com - under, Adrian J Hare

Bruce Foreman July 25th, 2009, 02:02 PM Sorry folks,
I guess I got to it ahead of you all.
It arrived this morning and now I'm waiting for a set of the legs from the same guy.
The head is everything he advertised it to be and I'll give it a very good home.
Lee Small July 25th, 2009, 03:17 PM High Definition Video - with everything you need!
$3600, incl. shipping by UPS ground w/insurance to continental USA. If I can't interest anyone in the entire package, I would be willing to part some of the individual items. PM me if you're interested in that or pictures.
I live in the Orlando, Florida area.
I bought the camera used about 1 year ago in preparation for my trip to Hawaii (top of Mauna Kea). I used the camera to record video for a total of about 5-10 hours - all playback was done on my HV30 camera (not included in this sale). All of the equipment listed for sale is in very good-to-excellent condition. The only blemish that I can see are 2 small wear marks (discolorations) of the plastic on the tape door of the XHA1. One is visible on the tape door above the "MiniDV" logo and the other below the rear hand strap mount point (PM your email for pictures). These are trivial cosmetic issues, only. Lenses have no scratches. My Hawaiian vacation is over and I no longer need this beautiful equipment, so it's time to pass it on!
Here's what I am selling (if it's not listed here, it's not included):
1. One Canon XH-A1 3CCD 20x zoom HDV video camera + accessories listed below:
Original Box + Instruction Manual
DC Coupler (DC-920)
Component Video Cable (DTC-1000)
Stereo Video Cable (STV-250N)
Wireless Controller (WL-D5000)
Shoulder Strap (SS-1000)
16MB SD Card (SD-16M)
Compact Power Adapter (CA-920) with AC Cable
Standard Battery (Canon BP-950G, 7.4v, 5200mAh)
Original Lens Cap
Original Lens Hood
+Some Extras!
High Capacity Battery (Aftermarket for Canon BP-970G, 7.4v, 7200mAh)
Dead Cat Wind Screen for on-board mic
Lens Hood Cover (coverlens.com)
Extra Eye Cup (from a professional Sony camcorder, fits over standard eye cup with better blocking of external light)
2. Four Extra Lenses, including
72mm UV filter
72mm Circular Polarizer, Nikon CP-14 (thin!) + plastic case
72mm Red Eye .7 Wide Angle (non-zoom thru) + leather case
The Red Eye is about the size of a filter and weighs less than 100 grams. The bulk and weight have been eliminated by using a durable and compact, high index, high clarity optical material which substantially reduces the size and weight of the lens. Multi-layer anti-reflective coating to increase light transmission to near 100% for optimum image clarity, contrast and sharpness. In addition, hard coatings offer an extra degree of scratch resistance and improve water repellency. The lens housing is anodized aluminum and uses standard 72mm thread mount.
77mm Expodisc + 77-72mm adapter + Case & Tether/Lanyard
3. EWA VXA Marine Bag + carrying case (used once in my pool, didn't need it in Hawaii)
The VXA is the 10 meter depth housing for the Canon XH-A1 and XH-G1 digital HD camcorders. Designed specifically for these camcorders the model VXM housing is manufactured from double laminated PVC and has an integrated, optically neutral flat glass port. Perfect for snorkeling or shallow diving, sandy, dusty, humid or foul weather conditions this housing will give your camera the best possible protection whilst being fully operable. It has a pair of non-corrosive and seawater resistant clamping rails which fit together for perfect sealing. They tighten by means of knurled thumb screw knobs. The straps at the bottom allow weights to be attached for perfect buoyancy under water. It is supplied in a handy yellow carry-case which has a water-proof interior and zippered side-pocket. Includes:
* yellow carry-case which has a water-proof interior and zippered side-pocket
* manual for ewa-marine video housings
* initial supply of CD5
* foam padding
* CAF ring with 72 mm filter thread adapters
4. Kata CRC-14 Rain Bag

Dave Tyrer July 26th, 2009, 03:59 PM I'm moving into video and my EX3 camera will only take Nikon 35mm lenses so I'm getting rid of all my Canon equipment as I can't afford to hump around two different kits - soley for practical reasons. The Nikon stuff will serve both my video and stills needs.
If anyone is interested I'm sticking it all on eBid. Sorry but it will only sell and ship within the UK.

Kevin Sawicki July 27th, 2009, 01:43 AM So I have a Canon XH-A1. I bought it brand new and it's in mint condition. It has about 30 hrs on it. I have the box with all the original accessories. After using my friend's HVX-200, I realized I made the mistake of purchasing the XH-A1. My college mainly uses P2 cards, so it's kinda hard for me to manage with my classes.
I don't want to spend any more money, after recently purchasing this Canon XH-A1 with a bunch of other gear, so I am willing to trade.
I live in New Jersey, but can meet people in NYC or PA.
I want to trade for a HVX-200 with original and extra accessories (mostly P2 cards and maybe a 35mm adapter).
I have a lot of gear to offer:
Xh-A1 w/ original accessories (must be included in the trade)
The rest is optional depending on what you have:
3 XL batteries
Custom Fitting Hard waterproof case
Toto-Cine 35mm Adapter
35mm lenses
8-ft? DIY Jib
Professional Sony bw 13" Field Monitor
13.1" Black 2.16 Ghz Macbook
CB-25 Pro HDV Backpack
even my Black 120gb Xbox 360 :(
and more.
Let me know what you want/have to trade. You can come see everything, I have a bunch of gear, and we'll work out a fair trade to what you have.
Email me directly at kevinsaw@gmail.com
with "hvx-200 trade" as the subject.
Thanks,
Kevin

Matthew Klos July 27th, 2009, 02:23 PM Hey Guys, I'm looking to pick up a Cd/Dvd duplicator. My needs are quite modest so I don't need a mega-tower. Something more along the line of a one-to-one or one-to-two would be quite sufficient. I realize that sometimes we out grow some of the equipment we use, and I thought perhaps someone out there is just staring at one sitting on their edit desk. Maybe we can help each other out. As always, any suggestions from forum members is appreciated.

Seth Bloombaum July 27th, 2009, 04:41 PM At long last I'm finishing a tape archive project...
Ampex. They almost invented reel-to-reel. This ATR-700 is a 1/4" deck with two repro head stacks, 1/4 track and 1/2 track. Runs 15ips and 7.5ips.
Has all the pro features, like:
* selectable tape lifter defeat
* vari-speed playback
* 3 sets of switch-selectable biasing
* XLR in and out
* two sets of XLR ins
* Mic preamps!
* Simul-sync
* Accomodates 10.5" NAB reels
* Switch-selectable tape tension, 10.5" vs. 7" reels.
* Tape counter in minutes:seconds
* home-brew rack mount ears - sturdy!
Most importantly: It works! Heads in good shape. I bought this for the project, reconditioned from Blevin's Pro Audio in Nashville.
Comes with a good aluminum splicing block, splicing tape, 2 NAB hubs, 1 plastic 7" reel, 2 aluminum NAB 10.5" "split" reels.
$250 plus actual packaging/shipping, which will likely run well over $50. Only via Paypal, only to the USA, including AK/HI.
Here's a picture. (http://meetingwire.com/sales/ampex_atr700.jpg)
Please reply via forum PM.
Ryan Kincaid July 27th, 2009, 08:52 PM I recently bought a lot on eBay which included the HV20. The camera had the flip hack done but can't be reversed because the switch has been ripped from the ribbon. I don't need the camera in this condition because I have the flip adapter for my Redrock M2. Would be willing to trade for HV20 without the flip hack done or sell out right.
I can provide pictures. Let me know.

Here is a big picture of everything. The battery still have plastic wrapping around (that why it looks a bit dirty). The battery has only be used 3 times and can even charge your camera.
