I'm a little hesitant posting this as I absolutely love this thing. I purchased it back a little over a year ago for use mainly as a live capture of HD-SDI video from my Canon XL cameras. It also resides in my main edit suite.

I'm thinking of selling as I am looking to possibly get a NanoFlash which will replace what this AJA does for me.

Of course this thing is much more than just a live HD-SDI ProRes Encoder. It is perfect for anyone needing tons of video/audio I/O for editing on their tower or laptop.

Let me know if interested. I am in no rush to sell, but will if someone wants it.

Comes with the power cord. There's a nick in the power cable wire (got caught in a recliner once) but doesn't cause shorting - I wrapped it with electrical tape and it's fine...

Formatted the HD; comes with Leopard; any other software you'll have to procure yourself.

Any one know of a good source to purchase an XL2 in the UK, used/new. There also seems a great deal in price difference from place to place, Warehouse Express, new £4100.00 or Simply Electronics new £2100.00, thats a big difference.

that sound scary for the cheap one. Do some research about the company before you buy i almost fall for the cheap and take the dip when i were searching for the 5D mark 2. So i go ehead with a little more and ensure myselft with someone that i know. I also have one but NTSC like 10hours of use and in a silver hard case with custom cut out foam if you intereste i'll send you some picture. i use it as a back up cam but hardly use it cause i got JVC HD110u(also for sale here only 8hrs) JVC DV5000u and 2 Canon XHA1

Does anyone have a JVC V-Lock adapter plate for the GY-HD1XX that they want to sell?
