Sean Love June 10th, 2009, 08:29 AM There have been some recent changes in my life, most notably my wife and I are about to have a child and we are very thrilled. That aside I can no longer goof off with my hobby of being a filmmaker. Though this saddens me I do look forward to being a father. I am looking to sell the following items, and I prefer to sell them together. I know that may be difficult but hey no harm in trying. It should be noted that all of this gear has NEVER been used, save for the field mixer and boom as I was testing to see if it worked... so that has about 20 minutes of usage. I was sadly waiting for the scarlet to come out.
That being said, if someone does choose to purchase all this, all you really need is a camera and a script and you're good to go:

Shayne Weyker June 10th, 2009, 10:17 AM I was selling the camera with several accessories together before but have decided to break the kit up and drop the price some. AK and HI people can buy these too.
Canon GL-2 in perfect working order. Bought new in 8/06. Looks pretty mint except for scuffing on the bottom from tripod plate. I'd guess 200+ hours of recording time. All original accessories (+ box) included except lens cap and large eye cup. includes original small canon battery and an additional large BP945 size aftermarket battery.
Sample footage from the camera is at
http://realtime.rhsmith.umd.edu/media/podcasts/dean-welcome-fall-08.m4v
Canon WD58 Wide Angle Converter lens for GL-2
missing outer cap (lost very recently), includes carrying bag, inner cap, lens hood. Has one very thin/light scratch you can only see under very bright light when examining the lens. I used this lens constantly and never saw the scratch visible on video but you might if you point the camera towards the sun. Will provide frame grabs of video including shots with sun on request.
I'll also include a lightly used KATA rain jacket sized for the GL2.

Shayne Weyker June 10th, 2009, 10:59 AM AK and HI people can buy too.
Varizoom Stealth LX LANC focus/zoom controller with maybe 100 hours of gentle use. Works great, very sensitive. Wire is a bit coiled from being wrapped around tripod handle.
VZ Stealth LX (http://www.varizoom.com/products/controls/vzstealthlx.html)
* Throttle provides variable-speed zoom control
* Dedicated “rocker style” focus button
* Low profile record/pause button
* Power On/Off button for toggling camera into or out of standby mode
* Switch between auto and manual focus with the ‘A’ button
* Toggle onscreen information (tape time, settings) on and off with 'Data' button

Shayne Weyker June 10th, 2009, 11:19 AM "SignVideo XLR Pro" XLR-to-mini 2 input audio adapter. Used very little, like new. Works fine. Smoothly adjusting volume knobs and switchable grounding for more hum-resistance are two added features this has over the Beachtek. Original box included.
XLR-PRO XLR adapter (http://www.signvideo.com/xlr-pro_xlr_adapter-audio-mixer.htm)
$95 + shipping/insurance (this much insurance included with ups ground), AK and HI buyers okay.
Craig Bellaire June 10th, 2009, 12:14 PM you have a price in mind? I'm in the USA, NY State area

Stuart Brontman June 10th, 2009, 01:48 PM I'm selling my trustworthy Panasonic DVC200 camcorder. It comes with a Canon 1/2" YH19X6.7 KRS lens (glass is flawless). The camera itself has less than 50 hours on the heads and has been professionally cleaned/serviced. It has not been used in about 18 months and safely stored in a cool, dry environment. The entire system is in like-new condition. It's a great SD camera if you need one.
I'll also throw in all of my remaining full sized DV tapes (10 or so). It comes with one of the large hard-sided gray shipping cases (custom fitted for this camera) and battery system (Li ion type, charges, A.C. power supply).
Prefer selling to someone in the Chicago metro area but will consider shipping within the CONUS.
Asking $2100 in Chicago area, $2100 + freight for areas outside the area. Will consider reasonable offers.
Michael McQueen June 10th, 2009, 01:49 PM units are sold.
Barron Thompson June 10th, 2009, 02:05 PM Buba
I'm waiting to hear back from someone who emailed me yesterday. If he doesn't buy it, I'll let you know!
Nate Haustein June 10th, 2009, 02:32 PM SOLD!
Thanks.
Christopher Glavan June 10th, 2009, 02:36 PM I'm looking for the original BX5, not the BX5a. Looking for a used pair in decent condition, $130-150 shipped.
I'm also looking for some good monitors for location shooting, as my cheap-o headphones have crapped out on me. Looking for a used pair in decent condition, $60-70 shipped.
I know I can find these on certain auction sites, but I'm just too wary of used equipment on those sites. I know buying from members here will yield me equipment in good condition.
Thanks for looking!!!

Greg Donovan June 10th, 2009, 06:10 PM I bought my GL2 used about 2 months ago and it arrived with only the large eyecup for use with glasses. It's completely useless to me.
I know it's probably a longshot, but I'm looking for the standard eyecup that comes installed on the GL2. If someone is using the larger one and doesn't need the standard eyecup perhaps they'd consider selling it to me.
If anyone can suggest an online store or anywhere where I can get this, please let me know.
Thanks,
Greg
