I have a DV MEDIA RIG (ShockRig) from Varizoom up for sale.. it transforms your handheld camera into a shoulder system with the ability to add more attachments while adding a shock absorber.

This unit is in great condition and has been rarely used; Im sure you will find it very beneficial for action shots, smoothing out walking shots and long documentary shoots.
It's also great for a production team with new crew or rotating crew that need to maintain a stable shot.

I've also modified the rig to be used upright without needing hands to support the system (very cool addition).

It lists for $575 on B&H; Im asking $500 obo
There is also an excellent review on B&H's site that you may want to read as well.

Hi All, I am selling my Fisheye lens that has given our videos such a cool look.. I have another one so no worries.. :)

This model works with the Canon series of cameras, I use mine with the XH-A1 and it ROCKs! There are no scratches etc. It does show some signs of wear when shooting into the sun or bright light though.. like as if its a bit dusty out. I don't really know if that's wear or just me not cleaning it thoroughly?? Anyway, I have two.. only need one.

It sells for $460 new B&H; asking $250 obo

Unfortunately, HDV isn't as standardized as DV. That means one manufacturers deck won't necessarily play the HDV your camera records.

It would probably be good to post what camera you have, or what specific deck you're looking for.

I have a wireless intercom system that we use on sets and wedding events etc.. however recently we just haven't been using them as much and rather take the money for other bills etc..

It costs $800 on B&H (Purchased from B&H); but will let them go for $600. Three of the headsets are upgraded to slimline padded and one is a standard set. Comes with case and chargers.

Kirk - just so you know, NO one deck captures the different formats.
Better follow up a bit on HDV 1 (720p/JVC)vs HDV 2 (1080i) before you consider decks that run about $2000.

Chris Hurd
April 24th, 2009, 10:17 PM
For JVC ProHD (GY-HD200, etc.), that format is HDV1 (720p) and you'll need a JVC BR-HD50U:

JVC Professional Features page (http://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/features.jsp?model_id=MDL101540)

For all Sony and Canon HDV, that format is HDV2 (1080i) and you'll need a Sony HVR-M35U:

Sony Product Detail Page - HVRM35U (http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/cat-videorecorders/cat-rechdv/product-HVRM35U/)

Ultimately your most affordable option will be using the camcorders in VCR mode as playback decks.
