BACKGROUND INFO:

I just sold my Canon XH-A1 and now I need to get rid of my 2x HV20s. I bought both of these cameras last fall. I've used them in a few weddings as static back cameras. I've also used both of them to capture A1 footage. But between the A1 footage you're looking at around 10-15 hours on each HV20. Besides that I haven't used them at all.

Some footage from these HV20s can be found at my website BerryGood Video | Kansas City Wedding Video | Home (http://www.BerryGoodVideo.com)

Package #1:

Great Conditional HV20
Original Battery
Original Battery Charger
Original Remote
Original CD
Original Manual
Original Video Cord
Additional Largest Battery Available for HV20
USB to Mini B Cord

Package #2:

Great Conditional HV20
Original Battery
Original Battery Charger
Original Remote
Original CD
Original Manual
Additional Largest Battery Available for HV20
Battery Charger

Pictures of both cameras and accessories can be found at: http://www.jordban.com/hv20s4sell

Asking $375 per package or $725 for both! Remember I'll be paying a good $15 per camera for shipping.

TERMS:

Payment: Paypal, credit / debt card, personal check, money order are all accepted.

Shipping: Shipping is free. HV20s are shipped the next business day. HV20s are shipped 3 day UPS. Delivery confirmation and insurance are included.

Please feel free to offer for either HV20 or for both of them together.

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a nice zoom control for my Sony EX3. I'm open to various types, brands, etc. (Fujinon, Bebob, Varizoom, etc.).

If anyone has a zoom control for the EX3 that they are willing to part with, please email me at: hammerhorror AT sbcglobal DOT net

Thanks!

Jordan, will the shoe accomodate a non-canon light or microphone? I can't see the shoe so I can't tell, that is my primary concern.

I want to be able to mount a Rode microphone to cam.

The cam is tape based and accepts mini plug for micorphones, correct?

Another way to get audio into the HV20 is provided by the Advanced Accessory Shoe. This is an electrical connection, proprietary to Canon (similar to but not compatible with a version used by Sony), at the base of the standard shoe mount on top of the camcorder. On the HV20, the shoe is located beneath a removeable hard plastic cover. The AAS connection accepts a small range of Canon accessories, including a couple of video lights (one of which includes a photo flash) and the DM-50 microphone. The DM-50 is a shock-mounted mono / stereo switchable mic that offers a couple of different pickup patterns; since it's isolated from the camcorder body, it's a much better microphone than the built-in mic.

Does that help?

Actually that helps a lot, and I researched it further and it will accept onboard stuff for sure.

Last question, what kind of tapes have you used?

I assume you use non-Sony tapes?

Is there ANYthing wrong with image or camera?

I have for sale a Brevis 35mm adapter. It is the version that came out before the Microprocessor controlled system. It worked extremely well for me when I paired it with my HV20 and my spiderbrace! With it, I have the 43-72mm step up ring, which makes it useable with any 43mm lens camcorder such as the HV20/HV30 series. for any other camera sizes, its just a matter of ordering another step up/step down ring from Cinevates website. Included:

Brevis 35mm adapter
canon lens mount
rails and mount
charger
pelican case(water tight, a very nice case)

$500.00 + shipping cost

I have pictures, but I didnt see a way to upload them. Anyone interested can let me know, and Ill send over pics right away!

Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions!

Hey John,

I have an EX-1 but also use larger cameras with the 8-pin "grip" zoom controllers.

There is a company on Ebay called "Jony Jib" that makes an adapter for the EX and 8-pin zoom controllers from Canon or Fujinon.

To get the really smooth zoom control, I would get this adpater and then pickup a used Canon or Fuji "grip" zoom control.

It will probably cost you $300+ but it is a far better zoom experience than the "little" controllers.

Jusy my .02 cents!

Yes Tim, this is an option that I'm considering. If someone has a nice Fujinon or Canon zoom control normally used for the larger cameras I would be interested in those as well.

Thanks for the advice!

Jeff, FYI, you have to grind down the tabs on rode videomic shoe in order to fit it into canon mount. Works fine once you do that.

I'm selling my 15" Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro. It's got a 2GHz processor and is maxed out with 2 Gigs of RAM. It has a 100Gig hard drive. I'm including the original power charger (one of the cord hooks has gone missing), and a neoprene InCase sleeve for travel as well.

The computer has a slide card slot that reads Sony SxS cards and makes downloading XDCam EX footage FAST!

The screen is clean with no dead pixels and a brand new battery is arriving in the mail on 04/08/09 because the current one needs replacing and I want to sell the machine in perfect working order. There has never been any major repairs or need for major repairs on this computer. It's in excellent condition.

I'll wipe the computer clean for the buyer, reinstall the current OS and put a few key programs on there for you.

Asking $1300 shipped.

For those of you looking for an excellent condition GL-2 this may be the one for you.
I am the original owner of this camera. The camera has about 10 hours on the tape heads and I have never had any problems or error messages with this camera.

Shortly after the purchase of the GL-2 I purchased a FireStore FS-4 original (not HD).
I used about 2 hours of tapes after I received the FS-4 and have never used tapes since.
That’s why the low hours on the heads. The GL-4/FS-4 setup has about 40-50 hours of use.

The FS-4 originally came with a 40G hard drive. Shortly after receiving the FS-4 I upgraded the 40G drive to a 100G drive. This gives approximately 433 minutes of record time; at least that’s what the FS-4 says on power up.

For now I am just selling the Gl-2 but will sell other accessories after or with the camera.

Here is a list.
Canon GL-2 with all original accessories, paper work, shipping boxes etc. $1000 (Camera only) and includes shipping to the Continental US.

FireStore FS-4 with 100-gig drive and original 40-gig drive, I never used it (40g) for anything else.

Hey Everyone,

I have a friend who is looking to by a used Sony Z1U that's in good working order. He's new to dvinfo.net so he asked if I could coordinate the search for a suitable camera.

Some usage is to be expected (reasonable run times with a dent or scratch is OK) but as long as the camera is fully functional we're OK with it. The camera would need all the original accessories (chargers, lens hood, one battery) and we're looking for a wide angle adapter as well.

In your replies, please let me know if the Z1 you're selling is the older 1/4" CCD model, or the newer 1/3" CCD model. Either model would fit our needs.

You can post back here or email george@tasickmedia.com.

Thanks,

George

um.. no idea really.. I've had it for the past couple of years; taken it to about 60 events (guessing ?)

I have had three xha1's and love them! Sold one last year as I really didn't need three; then this month I purchased a used xlh1 which I intended to sell after April, but I love it too.. so im debating on if I should keep the XL (would require I sell an A1 plus other stuff too to make up the difference in costs - xl 'aint cheap!)

I apologize in advance if this is perceived as a marketing post. I have been a member here since 2004, and I am not sure how to explain my equipment.

I invested in the following to put together a series of product build videos that never happened. I wont bore you with all the details; we did not win the relationship with the vendor. The case is sitting on the carpeted floor in my master closet.

I can take pictures for you as well. It is mint. I would put the condition of everything as EXCELLENT.

Sony HDR-V1U camera
Sony HVL-LBP light
Sony NP-F970 battery x 2
Sony AC-VQ1050D High Performance Dual Charger
Sony VCL-HG0862K 0.8x Wide-Angle
Sony SH-L35WBP hood
Sony VCT-PG11RMB Dual-Stage tripod w/ LANC remote controller
Sony LC-V1TH Hard Transit ATA Case
+cables, tapes, and small battery, accessories, white card.

Tape & Drum Run say 1x10H so I assume this means it really hasn't been used.

I bought everything brand new from B&H Photo in NYC. I welcome all legitimate offers.

Mod, if this is in violation of any Terms, kindly move to the correct place.

Thanks for looking.

There is no 1/4" Z1. All were always 1/3". You must be thinking of another camera. The V1 is 1/4", but it's CMOS.

There are several for sale here in this subforum. Just do a search.
