I'm selling a Sony EX1 camera. It's only got 38 hours on the clock. Still under warranty as it was purchased 06/18/2008 from B&H. Firmware is V1.05.0405

Included in the sale are all the original accessories including:

BP-U30 battery
Battery charger
Remote Control
2 8gb Sony SxS Flash Sticks
Strap
All of the original manuals and DVD

I'm also including a Pelican Case (1550) that fits the camera and accessories. It has padded Velcro dividers.

I posted this a while ago and got some interest, but no sale. I'm lowering the price to $5400 - I'll pay standard ground shipping in the US

Cheers

Maybe a long shot but I know these adapters exist. I have a Sony 8mm tape my dad gave me that survived Hurricane Katrina. He had asked me to transfer this sometime and he passed away last week. Now I really want to find out what's on it because it might be precious memories or it might be random junk he filmed.

Here's the kind of tape it is:
MP-120 SONY Video 8 (8 mm Video Cassette) for CAMCORDERS (http://moncton.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLargeImage?AdId=63272451&img=http%3A%2F%2Fkijiji.ebayimg.com%2Fi2%2F01%2Fk%2F000%2F7b%2F5e%2F6db7_18.JPG)

Here is my Panasonic LA-7200 16:9 Anamorphic Lens, wont be needing this as I have my DVX-100A up for sale. Glass is perfect, but I did have to fix the set screw since the original one stripped out. This one works fine and you just tighten it up and turn the nut with a pair of needle nose pliers to set. Here is your chance to get an expensive lens ($750 new from BH Photo) for alot cheaper.

What is included:

Panasonic LA-7200 Lens & Caps (rear is not original but works)

$250 shipping & paypal included

Cavision RS15IIM Carbon Fiber Rod System (retails for (170 on BH Photo) *SALE PENDING*

Works perfectly, couple of very small marks and a small paint chip on front piece that will attach to matte box.

$100 shipping and paypal included

Please email to colinmpritchett@gmail.com if interested. (ebay id colin.pritchett if you want to check me out)

I don't see how they could exist. VHS tape is 1/2" wide and 8mm is less than 1/3" wide. I think the adapter you "know" exists is actually a VHS-C adapter.

Here's some more info: Why You Can't Find an 8mm/VHS or miniDV/VHS Adapter (http://hometheater.about.com/cs/vcrs/a/aa8mmtovhsa.htm)

Gotcha. My memories were crossed. I remembered transferring a tape I recorded on that same 8mm camera about 11 years ago but now when I think of it I used the camera itself and transferred to VHS. Then down the road I had a VHS-C camera that had an adapter.

So are there any trustworthy sources I could use to get this tape transferred to MiniDV?

This package has been my workhorse for the last year. It pains me to sell, but I am not shooting as much as I used to.
This rig goes great with the mini35c with the built in flip function and remains the only camera able to shoot overcrank 60p on cheap, regular miniDV tapes.
I have attached some pictures of the package and a brief list of what I am selling.
Feel free to contact me for more details on the specs of any the items.
Trying to sell this as a package, but will part out certain items individually.

1. JVC HD200U
2. Cavision rail mount adapter + 2 15mm carbon iris rods
3. Cavision 2 stage rail-mount hard mattebox 2 4x4 frames and 1 4x5 frame
4. JVC KA-551U V mount tripod adapter plate
5. DR-HD100 160GB Firestore onboard harddrive w/ wall charger
6. Custom-made Firestore mount for lightweight, more magazine-like mounting of harddrive
7. P-tap to Firestore power adapter for running Firestore off camera
8. 1 AB Dionic 90 battery
9. 1 Titan Charger/ AC adapter for camera
10. Cavision 0.7x Wide Angle adapter
11. Cavision Follow Focus with cine pitch and fujinon gears and speed crank
12. Used Panavision hard AKS
13. Large Pelican for camera and accessories

I am selling this entire package for $3400 OBO.
I am located in Hollywood. Local buyers preferred, but willing to snap more pics and/or eventually ship anywhere in the US.
Paypal accepted.
Willing to take offers on individual parts.

I have owned it for maybe a year, but only used it for 4 or 5 shoots on a crane- its been in the case since I sold my HVX. Its a great daylight-viewable monitor.
