Dan Brockett March 9th, 2009, 08:54 PM Hi all:
I have a new project beginning and I need some more storage. Does anyone have any 16GB or 32GB P2 cards they would like to sell quickly? I am in LA, would prefer face to face and I can pay cash if you have a good price available.
Thanks,
Dan Brockett
Mark Hovater March 9th, 2009, 09:24 PM sold to wildlife shooter
Blake Cavett March 9th, 2009, 10:02 PM I curse your work week!
Todd Kivimaki March 9th, 2009, 10:36 PM I bought this on the forums about a month ago and have since been able to fine a steadicam jr on eBay so I will not need the Glidecam 2000 pro anymore. Reason I am using the JR over the Glidecam is I am flying a HV20 which is barely heavy enough for the JR, yet alone the 2000.
I was able to balance the hv20 on the Glidecam I used a quick release head and a wide angle lens for some extra weight. But I would rather fly lighter if possible.
The forearm support is definitely a nice addition, it spread the weight of the rig over your forearm and not just your wrist.
You will get the Glidecam 2000 pro, all weights, the forearm support, Glidecam DVD and Original Glidecam box. Everything is in like new condition.
$275 plus shipping I will pay for paypal fees.
If you are interested and want to see pictures let me know.
Thanks,
Todd
Scott Shama March 10th, 2009, 03:09 AM These are the 1GB model. $90 each. Yes these are the ones that can take a mic. The only difference between these and the 700 series is the case design is slightly different. The 800 series was made specifically for Bestbuy (as far as I know) and the 700 series was sold everywhere else. They've been in a drawer in my studio since I bought and opened them. All work perfectly.
email me if you're interested.
Thanks,
Scott

Bill Engeler March 10th, 2009, 07:23 AM Hi - i just bought this from B&H Photo, but have decided I don't really need it. It's brand new, the foam is untouched, and it can carry a lot of gear safely. It has wheels and a big handle. It's yours for €240. I'll deliver it in Belgium, or ship to you for cost.

There is no such thing as a "PM" on DVInfo. E-Mail only, and the link to yours shows up just fine.

3 XL2 Batteries, one is a 6.6.Ah (12Hr)
DIY Solarforce 600 Lumens LED lights in Bescor MX-601 housing
(I got a pair of Solarforce LED bulbs from China and gutted my old Bescor light, made some sockets and soldered them onto the original Bescor switch -- it turned out pretty nice. My only concern is that they might be too bright for interview footage -- they are 600 lumens -- and the color temperature is a bit off tungsten which I fix with the camera's white-balance, but another option would be a gel-filter.)
DIY Lithium Battery packs (2x)
(Also those I got from China -- very good & light weight batteries that I built an onboard battery hub for. His hub takes different inputs & format and distributes it as 12 volts to all the gear on the camera -- see video link above.)
Bescor X-672 batteries (2x): Bescor | X-672 6 VDC Battery for MX-600 and MX-601 | X672 | B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/264973-REG/Bescor_X672_X_672_6_VDC_Battery.html)
(Compared to the Lithiums, these are some heavy POS.)
DIY 10.2 inch external monitor built from an Insignia IS-PDVD10 DVD player: Home Theater: Insignia IS-PDVD10 Portable DVD Player (http://www.hometheatermag.com/personalmediadevices/0607insignia/)

Mike Hockett March 10th, 2009, 08:34 PM Cameras are sold.
Dylan Couper March 10th, 2009, 10:17 PM Hey guys n gals!
Up on the chopping block today is a Canon 28-135mm IS USM lens. This has been my A1 lens for the last 5 years or so, and has travelled almost everywhere with me... I've taken good care of it, and it's taken good care of me!
However, just recently I've purchased a 24-105L lens and the 28-135 has to go for 2 reasons:
1) My GF can't tell the difference between the old lens and the new one, and I have to sell it before she sees them both in my office and realizes I bought a new lens... and kills me.
2) The new one was considerably more expensive and I need to get some cash on the credit card it went on, fast.
SO... This excellent lens can be yours for $320 + $15 shipping to anywhere in North America. Payment by Paypal. I guarantee it is 100% perfect working condition and will give you an inspection period of a week to put it through its paces.
This also includes the petal style lens hood. I'm pretty sure I have the original box somewhere too.

Chuck Biddle March 11th, 2009, 07:32 AM Where are you located?
Matt Bishop March 11th, 2009, 09:08 AM After much thought, I have decided to sell this camera. I bought it in October and have literally used it for about 3-4 hours. Only those few hours because it's intended for our weddings but our season is always dead from november to april. It's an amazing camera and in perfect, brand new from the factory shape..here's why I'm selling.
I am wanting to get a brevis 35 mm adaptor setup now and it's just going to be too much to put on this camera. I'm simply selling so I can buy another xha1 to put the brevis on.
I have absolutely everything that came with it plus a protective lens filter that I'll leave with the camera. It will all come shipped in the box exactly as it came to me. Bought from B&H and of course still has full warranty.
Asking $5550 Firm. (includes paypal fees and shipping)
Doug Tessler March 11th, 2009, 09:25 AM Matt you can get a new one for about 5799 now so good luck its a great camera !
Doug
Matt Bishop March 11th, 2009, 09:43 AM Yes I know they've gone down a little but instead of pricing the camera lower and saying buyer pays shipping and paypal fees, I've just included that in. If anyone's looking for this camera, it's still a great deal and guaranteed to in perfect shape!!
Vincent Martinez March 11th, 2009, 09:59 AM Any offers ?

Roger Lee March 11th, 2009, 04:02 PM For sale $250 plus shipping..or I live near the Twin Cities and will deliver for a nominal sum.
The lens has been out of the box only twice for inspection. The lens has never been used or placed on a camera. The lens comes with the original box and paperwork.
I have not sent in the warranty, so that can still be done by the new owner.
I'll take a cashier's check or personal check. The personal check will have to clear before I ship.
I got this lens as part of a kit from B&H photo when I bought my XH A1. Most of my video is wildlife so I will never use the wide angle.
Please contact me at my home email:
