Anyone have any experience with capturing or acquiring via the IEEE1394 option board on the Panasonic AJ-D250 in Premiere Pro CS2?
We have an AJ-D250 withOUT the Firewire option board (AJ-YAD250), and we're thinking of getting that option board installed so we can output/input with this deck via Firewire, but are unsure if it's compatible with Premiere Pro CS2, specifically an AJA Xena LH/LS-equipped Premiere Pro CS2 workstation.
After all our Firewire troubles with the D250's big brother, the AJ-HD1400 (read my woes here (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?p=747979#post747979)), I'm concerned that similar incompatibility issues would arise with the D250.
I'd rather not spend the $750+ on this option board if it has similar issues, since they are both manufactured by Panasonic.
Thanks.
