I doesn't have a deck and only has an old Panasonic NV-GS11. Can this camcorder help to capture HDV footages from the HDV mini DV tapes captured by my XH-A1?

Does it matter whether the camcorder can shoot in either 24p or 25p, as I am shooting in 25p using the A1. Or simply any HDV camcorder will do. Chris Soucy October 12th, 2007, 03:22 AM What's the problem with using the A1 for capture? CS Chris Hurd October 12th, 2007, 05:33 AM Does it matter whether the camcorder can shoot in either 24p or 25pYes, it matters. If you've shot 25p and want to use another camcorder to play it back for capture, then it must be capable of 25p as well. Your best options are a Canon HV10 or HV20, but as Chris suggests, I think you should just use the A1 to capture from in the first place.
