David Newman October 11th, 2007, 10:45 AM As with most features, when it is done you will hear about it, the development is underway. We are a tad short on engineering staff for the number of projects are taking on, so we don't like to predict release dates. Bob Hart October 12th, 2007, 11:00 PM All in good time, patience has its rewards, especially if something is not rushed and turned loose prematurely. BTW, that dropout and pixellation issue I reported a while back regarding ProsepctHD looks like it might have been a forewarning of a camera breakdown as the camera subsequently failed with a tape tension problem. - - Not enough of an error to adversely affect the recorded image but enough to set off an error a few minutes into playback after spooling forward into the clip I wanted. Might be worth flagging as a possible random phantom cause of m2t capture error and false scene breaks, especially if the camera is being spooled backward and forward. Camera was a Sony HVR-Z1P which had been dusted at an outdoors music gig, cleaned and thought to be okay be but obviously not. |
