I'm planning to build my own 35mm (spinning type) adapter. It would seem that choosing the material used for the focusing screen would perhaps be the most important decision. What's being ued by the major providers? Where can I buy these, or how do I make them.

Thanks

I have tried many variants. The Canon Ee-a is in my opinion the best available. It can be used as static glass in good lightning condition. Hybrid microwax/beewax ground glasses may be better but there is no established standard to ensure optimal optical quality (mixture, thickness, etc.).

Daniel, the Canon you use would be vibrated, rather than spin, correct?

Paul:

Go to the Redrock Micro site here. They sell a guide for builging that include a spinning ground glass. The plans will give you ideas about completing your unit.
