I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this in, but figured I'd take a shot. Here's my situation: I've been asked if I can put together a video wall presentation by my company - most likely 3x3 16:9 monitors - and I said I would need to do some research first.
Most of it will be motion graphics with a little video from my XL-H1, putting it together in Motion and FCP - not too terribly hard of a project. However, I have no idea how I would set this up, hardware-wise. Can anyone give me any recommendations for research on this? I would need to know anything about physical setup, appropriate monitors, any special equipment I would need to drive this. I also need to know what kind of video format I would need to export to make it work. Are these project generally driven by individual feeds to individual monitors, or is it one display scaled across nine monitors? Apologies for being a total newbie on this.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can chime in with some thoughts!
