NEOHDV does not see my A1 in VCR mode. It does see my old Sony HC1, however.
Neo has worked fine for the past 5 weeks with my A1. Then suddenly Friday night when I connected the A1 for videocapture "no device available for videocapture" is what was displayed.

I haven't changed anything on the camera.

Any suggestions ??

Do you have another application to see if it's not the A1? Usually when I get one camera to work and not the other, it's a bad port/firewire issue. Unless you've shot in 24f, you can use the Sony, (I have an HC1) for capture.

A1 has likely been switched to downconvert or DV mode over firewire.
