Its 960x540 not 1080.

Looks a little underexposed too.

When did the XHA1 Shoot 1080p?....

I think they mean that it was edited and exported as a 1080p30, not that it was shot with a 1080p resolution.

But it was shot pretty well. I think maybe the colors should be more vibrant, it'd probably give it a better look.

Shot, of course, in 30F (Canon's fake P). Output to 1080P for BluRay DVD at a later time.

No CC. Just shot, edited and posted. I think it speaks well of the Canon picture quality.

I was basically testing 60i, 30 and 24F for best visual quality and output to BluRay. The F settings look good but lose some vertical rez. 60i looks more like "video HD" but the higher rez is a plus. But visually, it's not much noticable.

That and your thread title says 1080p... I was expecting a 1080 video clip and not the 960x540 resolution.
